Dr Bruce Laurence

Director of Public Health

He is currently the director of public health for Bath and North East Somerset. He trained as a doctor in the 1980’s and spent the first half of his career in medical relief, working in several countries in Africa and Asia with MSF, Oxfam and Merlin. In 2000 he went into training in UK public health in Berkshire and then Sheffield. After working for many years in a variety of posts in Derbyshire, he moved to Bath with his family just over 7 years ago.
